Nothing. PES is now eFootball, which only had one release 2020 (and an update for 2021).

Probably just not as many people spending money on Ultimate Team packs.

I feel like it might be a bit like Ubisoft, although not as bad.

Ubisoft is going back and adding Steam Achievements to all or many of their games, and maybe try to get a better image

EA has some bigger titles not perform like they'd like, e.g. Veilguard, FC 25, maybe Immortals of Avernum, Wild Hearts, Dead Space remake, etc., so they might not want to let it get as bad as Ubi, with some small, easy "wins."

This is just my theory, of course, I don't really know anything.

There's no opportunity. Intel sat on their ass for years, but NVIDIA is actually innovating. One bad-to-mediocre gen won't do anything, especially since AMD decided to sit out the high-end market this time.

They also have to follow NVIDIA, because they're just too big. If AMD introduced the RT and ML hardware six years ago, nobody would have cared, because they had like 15% market share. Now it's even worse and AMD has to fight for the scraps with Intel.

Latest prices, listed on the Microcenter site, indicate that AMD is indeed screwing it up.

I loved 0, but every time I started Kiwami my eyes just glazed over. I played a few hours of Like a Dragon, but didn't get far. Maybe some day I'll give it another shot.

For someone who doesn't really play these, but might like to, it feels like a new Yakuza game comes out every few months, which is just too much.

Looks like I was wrong, with so many different models affected, this has to be intentional.

Who knows if this always happens, but the firmware usually hides it, and like you said, people attribute the performance difference to the binning lottery (or most don't even notice).

I played some shapez. It's fun, but some of the later designs are definitely a puzzle on how to make them. The sequel seems to be the same thing, but 3D graphics. Shoutout to the soundtrack by Peppsen, it's fantastic.

Then I started re-playing the OG Final Fantasy VII, since I just finished Rebirth. I played the New Threat mod after Remake, so I didn't really get how similar Remake is to the original game, and now Rebirth as well. Yes, the new games are a lot slower, and you get a bunch of fluff, but otherwise they are the same.

This is just speculation on my part, but I guess they are detected, but the firmware just doesn't use all of them. I think the chips are all a bit different, with different defects, parts removed, and stuff like that.

Happened in the past already, and was solved with a vBIOS update. It will probably be the same here, unless the parts were really lasered off or something.

I'm at the end of Final Fantasy VII Rebirth. This game is all quantity over quality in my opinion. I also think, the devs never thought if the gazillion minigames or one-off quest mechanics are fun. Just add more and more, so you can brag about how much there is to do in your game. If players enjoy themselves, it's a nice coincidence, but never a goal. I just want this game to be over at this point. The last couple of hours just completely destroyed any remaining interest I had

NVIDIA raster performance -$50 is all AMD have done for years now and it cost them like 10% market share, which was already shit.

Unless NVIDIA just has zero stock for months and AMD is always available, I don't think that's gonna be any different.

Anybody got recommendations for some good idle games?
