Politicians are never the best of the best they are just those that want power the most. Generally speaking. Obviously there can be exceptions.
I think many economists point to the fact that western countries need younger workers to help pay for the growing percentage of the population that will be retired and needing more government services. So population increase at the rate we have may be needed even with some of the negatives it brings.
Crazy to think we are close to one of the big European countries with Spain having 47.42 million.
The fact that TFC should have won this game against a really good team just gives us TFC fans the false hope we can turn around the season. Our hearts will get ripped out the next game.
It seems that cycles of inflation and interest rate hikes works perfectly for a society that is capital driven requiring people to work longer and harder to maintain their lifestyles. Sometimes it seems like some less developed countries have the correct balance rather than pushing to work all the time and making people feel like less if the don't hustle all the time.
