As an American who grew up in the 90's and 00's...yes it was a thing... unfortunately.
"The rich" created an environment for this to happen by making sure the government could not regulate anythingand be effective in addressing any issues such as climate change, insurance, public utilities. You name it they fucked with it.
And if companies are found to abuse the system by putting shame job openings, (which they constantly do) they should pay a penalty and be banned from using the H1-B system.
To bad a good bit of tech engineers see themselves as rugged individuals, who are an eventual executives and are essential to the companies they work for. So they do nothing to help other workers because the they that would be "hurting themselves".
Nazi leadership was not competent.
They are going to argue it's not protected under the true threat doctrine.

I think it depends on the region of America. I grill a lot in the back yard and so do a lot of friends and family.
