"Earlier this month Victorian police revealed the 26-year-old childcare worker had been charged with more than 70 offences relating to eight alleged victims, aged between five months and two years old."

"Approximately 2,600 families with children who attended the centres were contacted, with 1,200 advised to undergo screening for sexually transmitted infections."

This piece of trash deserves a slow and painful death in a rotted jail cell. I work with kids, and I would completely loose it if I learnt that one of my colleagues had done anything remotely sexually inappropriate. I just don't understand how could they get away with it for so long! I just want to yell, and cry. I can't imagine what all those parents are going through right now...

What do you mean? Vast majority of it is seeded via torrents, a small part shared through soulseek

Yeah so true!! I installed it, and it launched an attack to overheat and destroy my CPU. Thankfully I reacted quick enough, and unplugged my computer quickly. However when I turned it back on, all my files were gone. It was cryptomining without my consent. Absolutely crazy!

My all time ratio is not that high (101.8), but I have seeded an average of 1.124 TiB per day for the last three years on with my home server. All my devices included, I average 1.7 TiB per day

Well if you're happy, I'm happy. To each their own! 🇨🇦 That's what democracy, and free choice is all about.

This kind of radical thinking is counterproductive. Canadians should support all Canadians no matter the province or local government's ideology. Refusing to do business with someone only because or their government is only going to hurt the people... Hurt local businesses, which gives the opportunity for big corporations to take over the local markets.

Absolutely disgusting... Completely biased and clearly racist test. Fucking fascists everywhere...

It has never been done in my family, and it would feel very weird to me to have a son with my name. I don't think my wife would like it very much either.

I do think it's a pretty cool tradition though.

A group of money driven, greenwashing investors dropped any pretences of environmental convictions as soon as their potential capital gains might get negatively affected.

Money driven people never cared, care or will care about the greater good.

Get that cord on baby!

[–] TediousLength 3 points 5 months ago (3 children)

Just get a cord for your glasses. I have no disability, and also used to drop mines all the time. They cost as low as 1$ for cheaper ones. I ended up buying a nice gold chain for them since I've been using a cord for years and it looks better with a chain.

I've been using public trackers for the past 20 years, and never had a problem with them. I never got any virus or malware, and almost always found what I was looking for. What I couldn't find through public trackers, I'd find it with soulseek. So I'm wondering what are the actual advantages of using private trackers?
