I have not experienced any QoL reductions due to global warming. Not any that affects me in a noticeable negative way anyways.

Which reductions in QoL are you thinking of?

They have plenty of wind energy too.

People won't listen because they've heard something similar for decades now, and for most people in the western world they haven't really experienced any decline in QoL due to global warming.

I think coding is one of the areas where LLMs are most useful for private individuals at this point in time.

It's not yet at the point where you just give it a prompt and it spits out flawless code.

For someone like me that are decent with computers but have little to no coding experience it's an absolutely amazing tool/teacher.

What situations are you thinking of that requires reasoning?

I've used LLMs to create software i needed but couldn't find online.

Exactly. The naming of the technology would make you assume it's intelligent. It's not.

Genocide is a wider term. It covers killing people based on religion, country of origin, color of skin, size of nose, etc etc.

Ethnic cleansing is genocide but specifically done towards people of a specific ethnicity.

This is a bad example.. If I ask a friend "is strawberry spelled with one or two r's"they would think I'm asking about the last part of the word.

The question seems to be specifically made to trip up LLMs. I've never heard anyone ask how many of a certain letter is in a word. I've heard people ask how you spell a word and if it's with one or two of a specific letter though.

If you think of LLMs as something with actual intelligence you're going to be very unimpressed.. It's just a model to predict the next word.

Two wrongs don't make a right.

I don't know enough to be able to say how easy it is to take over, but having been done by a single person could mean that no one else has the skills or the interest to do it, or maybe to do it as well as the original person.

I can definitely see why it could make a Linux user worried.

That's not obvious at all..

Maybe it is to people who are really deep into the Linux world but generally if there's only a single person in the world doing something, it's never obvious that someone else will start to do that if the first person stops.

It is a huge jump. There's a whole bunch of animals (even mammals) that eat nothing but dead animal. Meat, fat and sometimes bones, aka carnivores..

There is not a single animal that lives purely on fat, so I have no clue why anyone would think that's a viable diet.
