Duplicating the key removes some accountability. With this set up you can revoke access to only one person, while leaving the access in place for everyone else. If you had a single lock with six copies then a bad actor getting a copy means you’d have to replace everyone else’s keys

This also means one person can’t take their lock off and replace it with another, and therefore lock out everyone else

That’s true in older British homes, but it’s fine to drink hot water in Canada.

British houses even have the hot and cold separated in different taps, but as you know Canadian taps are mixed

It also would’ve stayed up a lot longer if the watertight compartments had gone all the way up, so water couldn’t have continued filling ones further aft. It still had more compromised than it could withstand, but it may have been able to remain afloat long enough for the Carpathia to arrive for rescue

Una’s testimony included a statement that her 10-year-old friend was arrested along with his parents

Because of the increased revenue to creators I don’t feel so bad about installing sponsorblock to skip in-video ads

Are stargates cloning devices? Aren't they wormholes? I haven't watched a lot of SG-1 so forgive me if they covered that

Anecdotally, Saskatoon Pride was this past Saturday. Tremendous turnout of at least 10,000 (actually the parade this year was the largest parade of any kind in the history of Saskatchewan), and as far as I’m aware there were no protestors of any kind anywhere along the parade route, and there were no security incidents at all during the festival

There are tons of coops across western Canada. It’s basically a chain at this point. Every small town has one. But for some reason they are very rare in the east
