Unfortunately it's a bigger problem than you'd imagine it is. There are numerous fairly active committed that are essentially unmoderated at this point

I guess there is a question about how well moderated a community is if no one checks in for 5 days.

This is exactly where the 5 days comes from.

The issue we're facing is there are some active communities that are getting reports where the current moderators are not active, not dealing with reports, and not responding to communication from admins.

While it's workable on a small scale, as admins we shouldn't be defacto relief moderators, and really shouldn't be enforcing any community specific rules.

You need to format it like this: [email protected] and it will make it clickable.

Wil be granted, subject to @[email protected] not responding in the next 5 days.

I'm just curious, any reason everything you post seems to be from the paywalled WinnipegFreePress.com?

I'm getting an uneasy feeling about that.

It’s not a massive complaint, but I’d hope “m.lemmy.ca” would be reserved for something more OS agnostic.

Yup. I get what you're saying now. It doesn't fit indeed. And yes m.lemmy.ca will be reserved for something more OS agnostic.

Average amount of on the job training a driver gets when hired is probably half a shift. You're expected to know and be able to do it without any additional training.

I think that's totally wrong and bullshit but that's what's going on out there. Where I work it's 4-6 weeks full time for a driver with experience, 6 weeks to 10 weeks or so usually for a new driver, we've had at least one do 6 months+. We're a definite outlier tho and probably do the most on the job training out of any trucking company in BC.

There was no need to capitalize the word ‘grammar’

I'm going to blame that on using swipe/gesture typing. I definitely do know it shouldn't have been capitalized. Honestly though I'm surprised that's the only thing you found considering English is my third language.

I'll keep that in mind, and I've just had a realization, we can set up all the donation options and just not "cash out" until we're determined non-profit status and how we're going to set up the financial side of it.

I'm curious why you say that. Seems to work fine on Android in browser.
