It mostly adds AI features. Last time I checked, Microsoft even tells you that there's no need to install it unless you just want to check out the AI stuff.

Nah if you only build a 2D structure, you won't have to worry about the water pressure because your structure will likely not be able to interact with 3D matter. It's genius engineering IMHO.

Surely climate change will make the planet uninhabitable before the ww3 ramps up

Sure, but I doubt very many people will get occupational exposure to CRTs these days. The days there might be a tiny CRT on an old oscilloscope, and some retro gaming/computing enthusiasts might have an old CRT but for most people it's likely not a concern.

I see your point that it was more of a concern in the past though.

Sounds like CRTs do produce some radiation but the amount it produces is marginal. Modern CRTs should have leaded glass which should substantially reduce the amount of X-rays you would receive.

https://oer.unimed.edu.ng/OTHER%20OER%20VARIETIES/5/1/Ife-Adediran-O-O-Arogunjo-A-M--EXPOSURE-RATE-ASSESSMENT-FROM-SELECTED-CATHODE-RAY-TUBE-DEVICES.pdf

The above article says 0.3 microS/hour which is less than one tenth of the radiation you get from an hour of flight, or about 10 hours of sun exposure.

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flight-time_equivalent_dose#Radiological_exposures_and_limits

So it looks like you will get radiation exposure from CRTs but it is not much higher than background radiation. Bring sedentary for hours in front of a CRT TV is probably worse for you than the radiation you would get from the CRT.

I remember Zune did not play well with Linux at all. One time I plugged my Zune into a Linux laptop just hoping to charge it. From that point on, until I plugged it back into a Windows PC, the Zune would play one song then skip the next two. As in track 1, 4, 7, then roll over to 2, 5, 8, etc.

That was the only problem I had with my Zune though, RIP Zune, you were the best.

Oh wait except for the leap year glitch. Microsoft apparently didn't think people would still use Zune in 2008 so all the Zunes stopped working for the duration of the leap day lol.

Wow these "lightweight" bikes are 50-60 pounds. I'd be worried about hitting bumps on a carbon frame with that much weight on it. Are most ebikes carbon frame now?

How to oil pull: Put about 1 tbsp (15 mL) of oil in your mouth Swish the oil around your mouth for about 15–20 minutes Spit out the oil, then brush your teeth

Hmmm I'll live with my coffee stained teeth, thanks

Taking on one extra dog for a few days seems like the easiest, most chill way to make a little money on the side if you are careful about which dogs you take. Those people who sit 4+ dogs at a time are insane but must pull in a good bit of money.

Ok yeah fair. I live in tick country as well so any time you go in ankle high grass you will likely get ticks. I mostly just put on my outdoor pants or bug spray if I expect to do so.

Genuine question, what are you doing on a regular basis where you would expect to get ticks on you while wearing jeans? Are you a pokemon trainer walking through tall grass all day?

If someone else has to debug the problems caused by a parent naming their child with a special character, does that make the parent the bugger? 🤔
