The idea isn't awful but the way they announced it definitely was
No idea, i just remember it's the reason /r/piracy moved their lifeboat forum from raddle to lemmy.
You can't even create an account there I don't see why a community there would be worth the effort
On linux it has a very small footprint but as some desktops are branching off from the GNOME path and into using the EFL instead of GTK, I imagine it will get a bit more attention going forward.
yeah going back and forth from day to night shifts is brutal, especially if you're doing it a lot.
from what I understand an imessage bridge requires a mac running 24/7 so that alone is probably worth a good chunk of that $10/mo
the fact that this is possible is cool af
Just wanting to play some weird games with your friends isn't toxic
understandable but its on the same level as posting NPR or BBC. It might be more sensationalized but the underlying facts are the same.
It looks cool, but their license is really weird.
