I sometimes describe the Raiders season as:

• Hope phase (often…preseason)
• False hope phase (when it’s clear we’re not great but still hope it’ll get better)
• Lost hope phase (“ehhhh next year”)

Rn I’m just still feeling joy that McDaniels is gone and wow we’re not terrible. Feels strange…

• If they lose: they’re our team
• If they move: they’re our team
• If the people we draft are sh*t: they’re our team
• If we get a gajillion penalties: they’re our team
• If the coach tries to impose “the Patriot way”: f*ck that guy, get him outta here
