It takes a lot of time to design a new, official US coin. I'm sure this is a "commemorative" "coin", worth about the metal it's printed on, being sold for excessive amounts to rubes. Re: the price of groceries, you forgot the ICE raids keeping farmworkers out of fields, and tarriff wars with Mexico and other countries, both of which are going to raise the cost of groceries. Bird flu in cattle have jacked the cost of dairy products, and it's only a matter of time before the same thing happens to beef herds. Freezing cold has come for the citrus crops so those are going to skyrocket, but thankfully we'll be getting of NOAA.
And the rising cost of eggs, which the reich-wing has been screeching about for a year, was also triggered by bird flu: the US has culled over a 100,000,000 chickens since it started a few years ago, but you never heard anything about the bird flu from Fox, who were all determined that "Biden did that!" Of course, the egg shortage is even worse now, so now they're no longer talking about "the President needs to do something about egg prices", they're all covering "omg, bird flu!"

You said "can get", implying you haven't done so yet. My advice? Get the EU citizenship. Simply getting EU citizenship doesn't commit you to actually moving overseas.
That said, things aren't that bad right now, but it'll take time to process the paperwork. By the time things get bad enough to force you, you may not have the time to wait for your application to be processed. Plus, depending on the number of refugees, they may change the rules on who qualifies.
Worst thing that happens is that you spend some time, effort and money and you get some peace of mind, which isn't a terrible thing at all.
I think you meant, "the round up of suspected immigrants (but we're not real careful about that), followed by the simultaneous difficulties of returning them to their homelands and national labor shortages; then the increasing "tax burden" of feeding and housing the immigrants with the continuing labor shortage leading to the "obvious and natural solution" of having the people awaiting deportation work in those understaffed jobs.
