I don't agree with but do understand the all or nothing view point. It is akin to a religious belief. Eating meat requires the creation of suffering. People who eat meat create suffering for personal pleasure when there are alternatives that don't. That is a morally wrong decision and being slightly less wrong is still wrong.

It treats the concept of harm reduction as completely insufficient.

Show people good tasting food. Many people are willing to try plant based food in place of meat if it tastes good .

Every dish consumed without meat is part way to your goal, even if they don’t agree with you morally.

It sounds like you are in a different country. Start getting involved in your politics to decouple from the USA and shield from its influence. It’s more urgent than it seems.

The outrage you see here from the US lemmings is the minority opinion. There is no internal force or opposition to what you see.

I'm looking for a recommendation on a high quality 2 or 3 meter USB-C /Thunderbolt cable used for data transfer and charging.

After yet another replacement Anker cable usb-c cable I’d really like to get cables that can last a few hundred cycles and I need a recommendation.

Are there any companies that make higher durability cables?

--Edit-- So far recommendations I have gotten are

  • Samsung
  • LCom
  • cable matters
  • Braided jackets
  • Power delivery of 25w or greater
  • Use magnetic disconnects

I'm looking for the right lemmy community to ask a question about high quality USB-C or thunderbolt cables.

After my 3rd replacement Anker cable usb-c cable I'd really like to get cables that can last a few hundred cycles and I need a recommendation. What community can I ask that in?
