Sorry for the late response. I haven't been on here for a while. Could you expand a little more on your point? Are you saying that men have nipples and therefore there is no difference between men and women? Or are you rather attacking immediate creation of the human being by God and supporting evolution?
I'm self-hosting some stuff on a yunohost server but i plan to switch to start9 once they add support for clearnet.
- Nextcloud
- Jellyfin
- Calibreweb
- Email (though I don't really use it)
I would be hosting more but our internet is too slow for anything else to really be effective.
Aha, never mind, I found the answer to my question above. Thanks for clarifying your point. Not sure if i agree 100%, but a viable point nevertheless.
Hey, I'm not sure why we are over analyzing Helix's message. I'd be interested in the connections you made between covid and digital privacy. It kinda sounds like your saying lack of digital privacy led to the pandemic. I don't think your saying that. Would you by any chance be referencing the tracking violations by the cdc? Or maybe that China's zero covid policy and tracking? Maybe I've got you wrong but those are the only connections that I have made.
P.S. Sorry if you have already answered a similar question. I didn't see it in the text thread.
I definitely agree. From what I understand about email security it's more of a safety net of security right below the tight-rope. What needs to be done is we just need to build a bridge instead of making everyone use the tight-rope.
Dang, that looks like a really cool combo! Only draw back, no imessage, which is unfortunately what most people use. But still looks pretty dang cool.
I have looked at it. It looks really cool! However, it does not have the user base of signal and does not have an easy unboarding for beginners. If I'm going to switch a person to an encrypted instant messenger I would do Signal. It is by far the simplest and the most widely used. The more widely it is used the easier it is to sell it to people. For the most secure I go with Session. But I do agree that SimpleX is on to something.
So I'm not from California but aren't they already struggling to supply the existing grid with power because of the heat waves? I think they may want to invest that money into making better power sources rather than ways to deplete the grid even more. Just my two cents.
I don't know, I've been on their Discord channel from the early stages and they seem pretty legit. Mind you I could be wrong, we all get taken into scams every now and then. I just got into their alpha testing so I will provide some feedback on how well it works. Honestly, it's fixing a problem that shouldn't be there. All of these walled garden messengers can't stand the test of time. We have to switch to something more federated like xmpp or something else. Even signal, while awesome, can't communicate with anything else. We need some good, secure, FOSS, instant messaging protocols.
That's so bad, but still funny.
So there is a bit of controversy in whether the creation of the Earth was divinely led evolution or immediate creation by the hands of God. For more research on that I would highly suggest going to the https://www.kolbecenter.org/ and https://foundationsrestored.com/ I was originally of the opinion that it was divinely led evolution. Even to the point of arguing extensively with Protestants for it. However, I then looked into the Kolbe Center's research and borrowed the foundations restored course from a friend. I have to say, I went in dubious of the proof for direct creation, but they knocked off my socks. They had very solid proofs convinced me pretty well that evolution at least was flawed and rather outdated. That context aside, here is an article that I found on some random creationist website. It offers a very good and cool understanding of why men have nipples. https://askjohnmackay.com/god-created-man-why-men-nipples-wasteful/ It basically says that since Eve was "bone of his bone and flesh of his flesh" (his = Adam), it was necessary that Adam contain all the parts that Eve has. Hence why Adam would have had an XY and Eve and XX. If Adam had had an XX then Eve wouldn't be "bone of his bone, and flesh of his flesh" because the Y would have had to be placed in her by God. I am not sure how scientifically sound it is as I am not a geneticist, but it is and interesting question that I have taken way too seriously :) Regardless, I think part of the reason God gave men nipples was so that they wouldn't feel left out :)
P.S. Sorry if I came across a little offensive on my first response.
