Yes. Work or die. It’s violence.

Haha, ung vetefan, över 30. Har hört begreppet vilse i pannkakan förut, men inte sett det. Minns Rädda Joppe, gav mig mardrömmar. Hahaha.

Aye, I did. I was born in the 90s though so that might be why. I remember Anki & Pytte quite well. I really enjoyed that as a kid.

We did? None of these ring a bell for me.

Gods yes. I've had so many errors spontaneously come into existence these past few months, that are resolved by rebooting the computer. I'm guessing it's some language server fuckery.

One of the biggest annoyances for me is that it'll spontaneously decide that WASM tools isn't installed. I was working on this project about two hours ago and everything worked fine, decided to go for a walk with my dog, and when I came back suddenly the project no longer builds because WASM tools has ceased to exist. I found this thread while scrolling through Lemmy waiting for the umpteenth reinstall of WASM tools.

Some days I'm thinking about just... throwing my computer out the window and moving to convent or something. I hate tech.

Yeah, I've had those thoughts too. Unfortunately it only applies if you are a resident or a citizen, if not then they'd bill your health insurance or state or what have you.

Hm. Do they review everything? Sounds like it's time to send tonnes and tonnes of stories about people who have gotten significantly hurt and/or died as a direct result from the actions of insurance companies.

Someone I know is making preparations for their death this year because they need surgeries and medical care quoted upwards of $500,000USD, insurance won't do shit, and they can't solve this economically. They're not even 30 years old.

In my country, the most they'd have to pay is around $140USD.

Learned something new! Love it.

The current CEO is an Airbnb shill. Further, OpenAI is a non-profit, so I don't really see what difference that makes. If the ToU isn't changing, then why is there a flag labelled tou-changed? Further, like I said, all the other mentions are being scrubbed, doesn't that just further indicate that they are in fact changing it?

Read the PR, the proof is right there.

Did you read anything else in that PR? Explain why every other mention of them never selling your data has been marked as obsolete come 25th of April? Changing things like

Super free, actually. No hidden costs or anything. You don’t pay anything to use it, and we don’t sell your personal data.

So much for that promise. Companies aren't your friend.

Any thoughts on the new mount? Personally I love it! It reminds me so much of the Sulyvahn's Beast enemies in Dark Souls 3.

Who's a good boy?
