Remember, this is a company that supports slave labor and child labor by purchasing from farms that did such things. The incident in Brazil (in 2018) was not mishap. As recently as of April 2025, Starbucks have been accused again of purchasing from such farms.

I don’t know. All the information I could find is a episode title where their name appears.

I didn’t know about this before now. A quick Google search reveals this image has shown up multiple times as a Easter egg in Silicon Valley episodes.

No, that’s character played by James Urbaniak on The Office named Rolf. You’re thinking of Thomas Rolph, cricket player.

This is sounding more and more like 1984.

Next thing we are gonna hear is that they never detained these people. After that they will deny the people existed. After that they will insist that transgender identity was a figment of our imagination.

Okay, then explain why other states and grocery establishments adopted California’s regulations after the laws were passed?

Because if the administration believes this, than other groups contributed to this. More likely that California as a whole was not nice to Trump in their mind, so he decided to get back at them somehow.

This dude is from a obscure Disney Channel show that apparently ran for 39 episodes.

Image zooming issue (startrek.website)
submitted 2 days ago* (last edited 2 days ago) by [email protected] to c/[email protected]

Hello. I’ve encountered an issue relating to zooming with images at random a few times within the last month. When attempting to zoom, at random the tap field will continue to zoom (even the pinch and pull gesture affects this) until the image has reached a maximum zoom. At this point the image will resize itself to the normal size or do nothing. Whenever this occurs, no other controls work. Only way to stop the behavior is force quoting the app.

EDIT: iPhone 13

Wrong answers only.

EDIT: This moment is from “Message in a Bottle”. They have just accessed the Hirogen network, Janeway is trying to negotiate for use of the network. When that doesn’t work, Seven sends a shock through the network to incapacitate them.

So for those unaware, René Auberjonois filmed scenes as a Starfleet officer named West (who had an odd rank of Colonel). At the end of the movie it is revealed that West, disguised as a Klingon, had attempted to assassinate the Federation president. If you have no memory of this, then no worry. You’ve only seen the theatrical version. All the scenes which René appears were not included.

According to Memory Alpha, prior to 2009, the home media releases included the West scenes but did not list Colonel West or René Auberjonois in the credits. 2009 is when the first DVD release came out, being the theatrical cut. The page for West indicates the 4K remaster, released in 2022, includes West scenes but omitting the reveal of the assassin’s identity.

With multiple edits of The Undiscovered Country existing, what is considered the canonical version?

Wish I was wrong.
