Thanks for popping in the link! Wow, what a read. I hope it leads to better treatment.

Great article - glad the Lid I5 is still pushing forward. It would be such a great thing for the city. Also I used to work with John, who they interview in the article - he's a good dude.
Fair enough! I have a mantra for those moments. I think to myself "I am here, now. Not there, then."
Yes! And it's reeeeeeally good! They also just wrapped up a kickstarter to fund production on their second.
What do you mean by cold? I might be an outlier cuz I left feeling chatty and interested - my partner and I talked about it all the way home.
I enjoyed it! I think it'll become a traditional Christmas movie for me. I loved the moodiness and also kinda chuckled at some of it, but I thought it was great. I don't know what the author means by 'cold', but that's ok. I have a feeling that re-watches will help reveal the character of the movie to me over time that I don't already have shorthand understandings (tropes) ready-made for, if that makes sense. I was left wanting to know more about the choices they made in the characters' portrayals and stylistic moves. I thought it had all kinds of vibe.
Wow, great job doing kitchen science. Those look amazing! I'll have to check out that book, thank you for sharing.
Whatever happens, I hope you two can get back to hiking without the madness. There are tons of ways to address it tactically that others have gone into, so I won't make any additional suggestions but I can say that as a diagnosed adhd-haver I can super duper relate. I hope you get the diagnosis outcome and support from your partner that you need.
Agreed and welcome! Be prepared to engage in or create a new space for the communities you care about. Things feel like they're just getting started here, but that's ok. Good luck and have fun!
Dang - please report back if you figure it out! I was thinking of doing a complete system reset but hadn't gotten to it yet.
Nice! Such a cool design. I've been thinking about getting one but I'm not sure about the way the layout works with arrows. I've used a Preonic for years and have come to really like having them available in a row format.
I loved Piranesi by Susanna Clarke! Also if you want to stretch your genre comfort, Kim Stanley Robinson's Mars trilogy is just wonderful. I return to it every few years.
