Same here! College friends spent hours late night helping me install and configure Arch + i3 on an old MacBook, going crazy trying to get wifi working. Great memories

Same. Got my G-SHOCK GW-M5610. Basically the ThinkPad of watches. Will never break, throw it in the ocean, smash with a hammer. Still trucks on. Was like $60 when I bought it. Most comfortable watch for travelling and every day use.

Damn that's terrifying. Good reason to quit pork imo. I like chicken better anyway.

I love my G-Shock watch. Practically invincible, can drop it from a building or go swimming with it, charges by solar panels and never dies, syncs with atomic clock towers by radio waves (no need for NTP!). I can set alarms, timers, stopwatches across timezones. It has dates stored locally until 2099 and it just cost $100. Smart watches may be more convenient for you, but imo the Casio is a better value and won't ever need to be replaced within 5 years because it doesn't get software updates

It's bundled with Google One, so if you pay for more Google Drive storage you get it for free. tbf it's a shit VPN that doesn't even let you choose your country. I could see it used when on public wifi, but other than that I don't see the point.
