Imagine the outrage if a world leader gifted another leader a golden model airplane after 9/11.

Insanity.

Tiniest thing imaginable

No responses yet so I'll chime in.

Hell yeah! I think it's hot, she thinks it's hot, win-win.

I hate that it doesn't have some key features, like the ability to easily annotate on the screen as a viewer. The presenter (host?) must allow it first, which for me often results in frustration as I try to guide them to the top tool bar to find it.

They also don't have custom emojis like my beloved Slack. And dear god Teams sends you a desktop notification every time someone reacts with an emoji, I disabled that quick.

I also hated how they did groups/channels, also called Teams, a name I hate (why have a feature with the same name as your product?). It was like a shitty forum board, where someone would post a topic and everyone commented underneath it, made it impossible to scroll through. They changed it recently though for a much more user friendly UI.

My favorite Teams feature is that I can mute other participants on a meeting. I can feel the Thrill course through me every time.

Currently have a great-grandmother at 102. She still lives by herself, with people stopping by and checking on her most days of the week. Someone drives her to a quilting club every week, she doesn't have the dexterity to sew anymore but lines up tiles for the others lol.

Yeah, I keep seeing articles like this, but a slightly different sized version of the same console isn't a radical idea. It baffles me, this isn't why the Wii U failed.

That's honestly horrifying

If you want something in 3D space:

  1. Make a character in an open area, you can walk and jump

  2. Create platforms you can jump on

  3. Make a coin/sphere/mass on top of one of the platforms

  4. Make it so if you touch the coin, you see a "you win!" Message or similar

  5. Put multiple coins and have a counter for each collected

I did something like this in UE4 as a beginner, hoping it's not too different in godot. Put a 60 second timer on this and you have yourself a mini game!

I'd 127 hours both my arms to suffocate in that ass

Oklahoma only has 1 county lit up, and it's where a state university is, OSU. But it's ranked lower nationally than OU (#196 vs #132). Both are in otherwise small towns, basically overrun by their respective colleges. Anecdotally, Norman (OU) is known to have nothing in town, but Stillwater (OSU) has it's own subculture and town pride.

I'm curious how many of these counties just contain college towns vs how many actually might attract highly educated people.

LBJ had a special button installed that would summon someone to bring him a Fresca.

Never tried Prairie Fire Pie, but I freaking loved Palace Cafe, delicious food and great service.
