Muutto evakkoasuntoon vielä määrittelemättömäksi ajaksi eli uusi tilanne edessä. Kämpästä otetaan sillä välin mittauksia ens viikolla ja madonluvut selviää sitten joskus sen jälkeen ja sitten selkiää mitä seuraavaksi tapahtuu. Avoimin mielin ja hyvällä mielialalla olosuhteet huomioiden.

Todella ikävä uutinen tietopohjaisen päätöksenteon kannalta. Olen ollut tekemässä yhtä tällaista selvitystä ja seurannut muutamaa muuta. Tällaisessa selvitystyyppisessä tutkimuksessa on omat ongelmansa, mutta olen kokenut, että näiden avulla ministeriöt ja päättäjät saavat kohdennettua tutkimusta nopeasti ja me tutkijat puolestaan pääsemme tutkimaan relevantteja aiheita. Surullista että mennään tähän lakkauttamisten suuntaan sen sijaan, että tietopohjaisuutta vahvistettaisiin.

Ymmärrän tän ja oon samaa mieltä, mutta samalla tuntuu jotenkin surulliselta sellainen tilanne, että ylläpidetään rinnakkaistodellisuuksia oikean tilanteen ja virallisen totuuden välillä. Ikävää ettei vieläkään viranomaiset osaa käsitellä sitä, että ihmiset kertoisivat totuuksia siitä, miten nykyään eletään tai miltä heistä tuntuu.

Prog Genesis was so weird to discover in my teens. I was used to the 80s Genesis from MTV.

I remember listening to Billy Bragg’s version of this years ago. Billy Bragg and John Darnielle have this in common: their voices are basically really annoying but still I like both of them.

I recently heard this view from someone who has worked with social media quite a lot, that we should basically only have verified online identities in the future. All unverified identities will be assumed to be bots. This is kind of sad to me, as anonymous online interaction still seems valuable. In any case, it does seem like a race: we try to make up tests to prove we’re human, others try to train AIs to pass those tests.
