TPU pretty completely bonds between layers, there's not the same risks associated with pla and petg. Printing TPU can be a bit of a hassle so if you're using it to prototype make sure you tune your profile for TPU. I think it's a great idea.

TPU is what I'd suggest. You don't need a enclosure and it should work for what you want. It's a finicky material though so be prepared to spend some time getting to know it, figuring out it's temps and speeds is a must for good prints.

You guys can remember names? They just don't stick for me. I have classmates I have a working relationship with whose name I don't know and I've worked with them across 3 classes -.-

A folder called 3d printing has most of the stl and 3mf files arranged by date modified. Nested in there are folders for specific projects that have revisions or are remixes I've done, but I'd like to overhaul the whole system to something that makes a little more sense. I like the idea of a git for my own projects, I've already lost revisions by not paying attention and overwriting the old ones.

Orca stores my filament and profile settings, haven't found a reason to export those.

I'm gonna try the with tpu filament to make an o ring for my water bottle, thanks for the low tech approach, very cool ingenuity.

Yeah definitely going to look into that, and surgery. I've been to the sleep doc twice and tried CPAP twice, hopefully it's okay to move onto other things now.

Hello 3d printing community! I am looking to join the ranks and purchase my first 3d printer. Specifically I am looking at the a1 mini.

My use case is mostly functional, housing for electronics, hooks and jigs, that sort of thing, so I don't think I need the ams kit although the multicolor printing and support beams of different materials sounds nifty, I also hear bambu printers are really good with supports.

My biggest questions to the community are, is this a good choice? What filament should I start with? And I live in a dryer climate, is a filament dryer something I should definitely invest in, and if so what is a decent and decently cheap one you'd recommend?

Thank you for taking the time to read (and hopefully reply to) my post.
