I got it for free. (Last company I worked for went bankrupt). I think they were $200 when new? Well I got the case and fan installed….i need a micro hdmi to hdmi cable for display. I was unsuccessful in getting one. I don’t use Amazon anymore. Best Buy has it, cool. Drive over there, they don’t have it. They say they have it, but they can’t find it. Whatever they were gonna overcharge me anyways. Ended up ordering one online from B&H. So still waiting. Didn’t set up pi hole. lol sorry for the rant.

Probably rocket league. Other favorites are Civ 6, Balatro, Monster Hunter Franchise, and the Dark Souls Franchise.

Back in the day it was Sim City 4 and Age of Mythology.

This is a thing of beauty! I didn’t know grinders could be such high quality. Threadless and no metal grinding contact is huge.

It hurts me when I see people grinding up herb in those cheap plastic grinders. I’d rather break it up by hand if that’s the only option.

That’s rough. I hope you are able to transition into something you enjoy doing. I know several public school teachers and they all report the same thing. I’ve noticed both of those traits have become more prominent in myself in the last 10 years or so as I spend more time with devices than I used to. I would be struggling as a student right now for sure.

I think my bed frame will last my whole life (in my 30s now). I got a Thuma bed frame. It was expensive but it’s so solid and easy to assemble and take apart. Maybe the slats will need to be replaced one day. This thing a toe stubbing monster though (legs flare out)!

Agreed on Good Omens. Sad he’s gone but kinda glad he doesn’t have to witness this.

Butter chicken pizza! (Butter chicken sauce instead of tomato sauce)

When I was in college the pizza place in the student union building did a loaded baked potato pizza. Slices were like 4cm tall! Russet potato, cheddar, green onions and bacon. It was the same price as the other topped pizza slices and one slice would fill me up for the day. Miss that. Never seen it anywhere else.

Were you religious? Are you still?

What’s the main ‘symptom’ of the anxiety and anger you’ve observed?

Neil Gaiman stories. After learning about his abuses and sexual assaults. He actually touches on those themes in some of his stories (Sandman, American Gods). And even wrote empathetically about the victim’s experiences in these stories; which just sickens me more. Putting those stories in the context of what he’s done has ruined them for me. I never swore to love his stories forever but I did really like them, one upon a time.

That seems like a good prize pool for a 20eur entry! Good luck

Hey Y’all,

Cool to see this community already exists! Would love to hear your suggestions. Thanks so much.

Here’s what I’m looking for: -used and as close to $10K as possible but up to $20K for something really solid.

-fuel efficiency important, hybrid ok. Not sure about full EV.

-Not a daily driver. Maybe 3-4 trips a week max. Mostly in town. And a ~100 mile round trip commute once a week or so.

-I want this car to last 10yrs at least. But I intend to drive it until one of us goes first.

-I live in Oakland CA, we have lots of potholes and some particularly dangerous drivers so I want something safe and reliable (solid).

-don’t care about aesthetics.

-I like to drive but fun to drive is just a nice to have.

-trunk space: enough for light camping or moving my bass and amp around.

-size: no SUVs or trucks please, prefer sedan or smaller (parking). 2 door/seat is ok as long as it has trunk space. I’m short, if it matters.

-I do like my music so some media controls are nice (like on the steering wheel), but can upgrade the sound system and console later ;)

-the simpler the better in terms of components, controls, maintenance. I’ll be happy with a roller window, no key fob, etc.

-it’ll be parked in a garage most of the time.

-some cars I’ve looked at that seem decent are: prius, golf, Mazda M3. Golf’s seem fun to drive and is a good size for me I think.

-I’m down with a manual if that comes up.
