I would even go so far as to say most of the Trump administration's personnel actions are likely unlawful.

The White House argues the law is unconstitutional, challenging limits on presidential power over independent agencies.

These people clearly don't understand what "independent" means.

The Enterprise LTSC versions will be supported for a few more years, regular support for Pro is ending in October same as Home. Some of the worst stuff like Co-Pilot hasn't made it in to LTSC (yet).

Danielle Smith would probably throw at fit if the federal government proposed that plan. Her sucking up to Trump got her a lower tariff rate on oil and she absolutely will not accept anything that would make the oil industry feel the same pain as the other industries affected by tariffs.

I don't think judges are even overruling Trump at this point, just issuing injunctions and restraining orders to put things on hold while they sort out whether Trump is allowed to do what he's trying to do.

They rewrote the taskbar and Start menu for Windows 11, and left out stuff like being able to move the taskbar or even have separate taskbar items for each instance of an application. Rewriting the whole OS would be a disaster.

At some point countries need to just stop sending the US anything Trump puts tariffs on. He says tariffs on steel would be for "national security", but I bet having a chunk of their steel supply cut off would be a bigger national security problem than whatever he's pretending to solve.

I have enough money that I don't worry, but not necessarily enough that I shouldn't worry.

It's still handy to have enough money that losing your job wouldn't be an emergency.
