If Vance were president Republican spines would start to grow back. Trump's hold over Republicans is a major part of the problem.

The article doesn't offer any real evidence of the "love" side of this supposed "love-hate relationship". The nearest thing I could find was this bit at the end, which isn't super loving:

“I love Canada, I love the people of Canada,” Mr. Trump said at a cabinet meeting at the White House. “It’s not fair for us to be supporting Canada — If we don’t support them, they don’t subsist as a nation.”

I guess that explains why the iOS Mail app asked me to sign into my Outlook.com account again. I switched away from the Outlook app last week and I was thinking the Mail app must only be able to stay logged in for a few days at a time.

The answer to the suit question should have been like, "Russia destroyed my suit and Ukraine's tailors are too busy sewing up wounds to spend time making a new one."

Just to be clear, the "diplomatic meltdown" was mainly by Trump and Vance, not Zelenskyy, right?

Asked whether the U.S. had itself gone back on its commitments by demanding compensation for aid that was freely given, Baumgartner was unequivocal.

“Be that as it may, (Ukraine has) now twice been ready to sign an agreement and twice backed out at the last second,” Baumgartner said. “And then you had this bizarre descent into public grievance, an argument in the White House in front of the American public, that’s not advantageous to either side.”

Baumgartner doesn't even deny that the US is "demanding compensation for aid that was freely given" but he's upset that Zelenskyy isn't jumping to pay up.

Musk appeared at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) last week. I assume there were a decent number of people there (but maybe not a number of decent people).

President DonaldTrump and Elon Musk are getting along well so far, but their first meeting at the Oval Office five years ago in 2020 was not as friendly. A source who was at the meetingshared the details with Politico on Tuesday.

This wasn't a recent thing, just something that was reported recently.

Did they even give her a heads up that she was getting the job?

When travellers experience issues such as cancelled or delayed flights, or lost bags, and feel the airlines don’t respond appropriately, they can take their complaint to the federal government’s Canadian Transportation Agency.

However, when their hearing ends, they are required to keep the ruling confidential.

Now the agency is proposing to fine people for going public about their decisions.

It doesn't seem crazy for there to be consequences for violating a confidentiality requirement. Having a confidentiality requirement is the part the should maybe be questioned.

Musk has dual citizenship, revoking his Canadian citizenship would not make him stateless.

The OECD has been working on an agreement that will probably include standards, but Canada and other countries got tired of waiting.
