This is a planned feature (issue here). We'd like to make this configurable, so that users can choose which format they prefer links to be shared in. We don't plan to implement this before we release 2.0 to the App Store, but can certainly look into it for the following update.
We're almost there! It's been a long journey, and we're excited to be approaching the 2.0 release in the coming weeks. We appreciate all the bug reports that our beta testers have been submitting to help us fine-tune the app ahead of release :)
Great 😄
Hey, this should be fixed in today's release of the weekly TestFlight beta. Please let us know if it happens again :)
Sorry to disappoint, but this isn't happening. I think Sunshine was being figurative here :) We'd of course love to be featured at WWDC but it's unlikely to happen.
The App Store version of Mlem doesn't support GIF rendering just yet, but the TestFlight version does.
Thanks, that's super helpful! We'll try to get this fixed for the next TF release.
Thanks for the bug report - we weren't aware of this issue. Some more information would help us to track this bug down, if that's okay.
If you try to edit the same comment in the same way on the website interface (feddit.org), does it also fail? If so, does it give you an error message?
Thanks! This is the first I've seen them call it "1.0", they'd been calling it "0.20" on the developer repo for a while. Exciting! We will of course be supporting Lemmy 1.0.
This is planned; we're tracking the issue here.
It's possible to view this list in the search tab on the Mlem beta. To do so, open the search bar and type a space, then tap on the filter button (just below the cancel button) and choose an instance to filter for.
