You don't have to be authoritarian to think Dems shit the bed.

Put simply, this is a place for criticism of the oppressive gendered expectations placed on men with a focus on intersectionality.

Put simply, this is a community dedicated to criticism of the gendered constraints placed on men.

Honestly good for them. US tech CEOs deserve to have their lunch eaten for ducking the industry into stagnation with their short sighted greed.

I believe it has been confirmed that Deepseek-r1 was trained with RL datasets that originated with chatgpt. Pretty standard.

Always a good idea. I'll reach out to them.

It's less about news and more about advocacy.

FediMatch is a project that's pretty cool.

One strategy that I'd like to specifically promote is fediverse users calling attention to spaces of the internet where people are talking about the fediverse but there's relatively few users there that can share their experience.

To that end I've been considering things like:

  • Fedimigration Reinforcements
  • Fedimigration Support Team

Keep in mind that whatever name we pick will also be the hashtag that the Mastodon contingent of this project will end up using. As it stands, they would see posts from this community under #growthefediverse

Hello everyone,

@[email protected] created [email protected] to synchronize efforts to promote the Fediverse on existing social media (e.g. that Reddit thread on /r/Technology which got a few people joining Lemmy)

Spaduf wasn't aware of the existence of [email protected] , which is an existing community focused on the internal growt on the Fediverse, mostly between mods and regular posters trying to make Lemmy/Mbin/Piefed communitied grow.

To avoid confusion between the two communities, we are thinking about a potential new community, with a different name.

Potential options we came up with:

What do you all think? Do you have any other ideas for the name of that new community?

I'm actually doing some research on monetization options now. Hopefully going to put together an overview of the options available soon.

If so consider a post to the Fedimigration community ([email protected]). There you'll find resources and assistance to help people get onboarded.

Have any of y'all convinced somebody to make the switch? If so, how'd it go? What worked and what needs work?

These are the engagement numbers for this post over on /r/technology. These numbers are surely inflated (because reddit) but it's important to understand that YOU as an individual have the potential to reach literally millions.

But there's not many current users over there to answer them. If you still have a reddit account and are willing to help some folks out, please consider doing so!

This is a community intended to collect resources and build a movement to get people off of legacy social media. If you have some people you'd like to switch over, or are willing to post about Fedi on your old accounts, please come check it out:
