There are many windows machines that never run any game (corporate issued work laptop for example). What this says is that Linux machines are more likely to be personal machines in which you can play games.

In French, we have different synonyms for that :

  • "machine à laver", which is female
  • "lave-linge", which is male
  • "laveuse" (Québec only), which is female

Why do they have different gender for the same thing ? Because, insert your favorite expletive word, that's why !

Louis is the "same name" as Clovis. I mean by that it is how the name evolved as the dynasties changed their language from Frankish to Latin to then French.

Clovis was the first king unifying all Franks, so many Frank kings are named Clovis ... and later ones are named Louis.

Come on, it is super fun. Just install VirtualBox and set up a virtual machine, make sure there is no funky mount point that touches your host machine, and go nuke that VM !
