The idea of pulling the red carpet out from under you is a very funny metaphor mixup because it suggests the red carpet was initially rolled out, which is a way of saying you were given special privileged royal treatment. I think it's the same. I started getting both kinds of texts at the same time having hardly ever gotten any spam previously.
A few months ago I started getting these texts from various women asking claiming to be from the federal conservatives, the provincial ones when an election was on and polling companies.
There are about 200-250 countries. I doubt most of us could name 1 fact about half of them.
