Beatport, HDtracks, & Juno Download all look promising—they even have my relatively obscure 90s music!—thanks! 👍

Of the two that you've had dealings with, do they let you download all the album tracks at once, or do they force you to download them one by one, or else, even worse, to use some special proprietary downloader thingy?

EDIT: The other thing I didn't like about 7digital was when they switched from their old payment system to PayPal; with all the various browser tweaks on FF I had in place, bouncing between the two sites to pay and then claim my purchase would frequently cause problems.

I think this might be because they're worried that if Rubio doesn't get it that Trump will nominate someone even worse.

This is in addition to bandcamp, which AFAIK is unsurpassed in its awesomeness.

For less niche stuff, I've used 7 digital and Qobuz in the past; both have screwed me over by either making it very difficult to download my purchases, or else charging me for an entire album before revealing (in a light grey font on a white background) that 60% of the tracks can only be streamed but not downloaded due to rights issues. I don't think amazon's ever sold FLAC, and even if they did, I would never buy anything from them. And I'm not willing to use Spotify since it screws its artists over so badly.

So, with all those various conditions laid down, is there anything left that anyone would recommend? Getting CDs from the library and ripping them works too, but depending on the album, it can take so long for it to arrive through interlibrary loan that by the time I get it, I've moved on to other things!

I sometimes wonder if we're in the wrong timeline like on that episode of NextGen where Tasha Yar was never killed, they encounter the Enterprise-C, and Guinan tells Picard "it's not supposed to be like this, there should be children on this ship," or words to that effect.

However, people probably felt that way too when JFK was shot; from where I'm standing, the real fracture in the timeline occurred on 9/11, and things have only gotten more batshit crazy and fractured as time goes by.

Putin's (very) useful idiot is now in the process of completing his work destroying the US federal government. Hope state governments can pick up the slack, because they'll have to.

EDIT: And, surprise! Red states are more dependent on federal funding than blue states are.

Should Jeff decide to close this particular store, I would urge everyone out of a job to follow the lead of Chris Smalls and go into labor organizing full time.

🙁 Crap, didn't see that part.

EDIT: Also, another thing I hate about most sites that sell ebooks is that they're rarely explicit about what their file formats are.

Hey, how did you get hold of my passphrase?! 😵

Has a certain ring to it 👍 (Should we vote on this? Can we vote on this? Probably would want to get the ok first from the Admins since it is their baby).

Snaggletooth is kind of scary-looking 😱🙀, but ok!

From Wikipedia: "It was later suggested by some that the name originated from the phrase "lemmy a quid 'til Friday" because of his alleged habit of borrowing money from people to play slot machines."

Frasier Crane, the sitcom character, is played by Kelsey Grammar who is a Trumpster.

Also

. . . just "Lemmy?" "Lem?" Something else entirely?

Another possibility could be "Stan" or "Stanislaw" (because of Stanisław Lem).

Lemmy of Motörhead's real name is "Ian Fraser Kilmister," so our guy could also be named "Ian" or "Kilmister;" Fraser probably not being a great choice for obvious reasons.

(Have I spent way too much time thinking about this? Is it way past time for me to stop drinking coffee and go to bed? You bet! ☕🤪)
