Doug Ford: Selling out Ontario for the GTA. Kemptville, Sarnia, Chatham, Parry Sound, Fort Erie, Cornwall, Timmins, you're all going to be paying for Ford's Toronto pet projects. Is that what you want?

Nope, he tried for Mayor in 2014 and failed that. So he is now Supreme Executor of Toronto, and also a city councillor.
