Meta is one of the highest performing American stocks and 98% of their revenue is advertising. Make it harder and strike a blow for Canada!

The guide is easy enough that parents, grandparents and other non tech types should be fine with it.

Yeah, and that works on her laptop's browser, but her primary computing device is her mobile phone. So ads on YouTube app, ads on Facebook app, ads on Instagram app, also ads on TV YouTube app.

Firefox + uBlock works for YouTube on mobile (Android, anyway). It will even allow videos to keep running in the background.

I can't speak to if it works for FB and IG but it's worth a shot.

Unfortunately, the app runs smoother or something idk. She doesn't like using the browser. I've tried, man. IDK. 🤷

I haven't tried NewPipe, but I did install Grayjay on her phone. But... it looks too weird... ajaksdlfjakdfj idk.

I've found it to be buggy lately so I'd hold off until the re-write is completed. YMMV.
