I'd still avoid American brands. Currently using a Pixel but if I had to buy again, I'd be looking at a Fairphone or Samsung. I'd probably stretch this Pixel for a while. Technically it's got 5 more years of software support.

You mentioned the Fairphkne and Iโ€™ve been eyeing it too. Has anything changed with how we can actually get it here? Or do we still have to do our homework and check if itโ€™ll work with our existing providers or get a new plan?

I have a FP5 in the EU and I love it. I think you can get a 4, and I'm under the impression the 5 will work on some bands but not others in Canada

ran into that when i brought my Canadian S22U to the UK. Often i had perfect high speed service, and other days I just had 0 service.
