Buy Beaver was created by a couple of entrepreneurs based in Montreal. It's a free app and they're currently just supporting the project with donations.

That's awesome, thanks for sharing, just downloaded the app now. But it says that donations are currently disabled on IOS due to App Store policies.

Ah, well their donation link is on their website, under the "About Us" section. They just use buymeacoffee: https://buymeacoffee.com/isitfromcanada, if you want to contribute.
