Seriously, people don’t know what an index ETF is.
The headline is inflammatory, and confirms our biases. Nobody's gonna read it unless they absolutely have to.
I wouldn't blame an ordinary person for having money in this index ETF, but it is funny that he made a big deal out of it while having money invested in Brooksfield also.
I certainly wouldn't use it as a point to discredit Poilievre. There are many other ways to do that.
