These are not "general slaughterhouse tactics." Exterminating entire flocks is not a thing that slaughterhouses routinely do. For example, it is not normal to gas an entire roost and slowly and painfully suffocate the occupants. That is not normal slaughterhouse tactics. As needlessly cruel and violent as the industry normally is, what is happening right now is another level. These are important facts that people who consume these products should REALLY know. It isn't just a distraction from whatever you consider to be more important information.

Facts don't have an agenda. You're trying to distance yourself from something that is difficult and upsetting to approach.
