Sure, but what if telepathic powers somehow affect your brain chemistry or morphology? Aside, Would flying be like manipulating gravity or lifting yourself up with an "invisible hand"?

The gravity manipulation is much better if they are handing out options.

But the giant invisible hand probably allows for more intuative fine control plus its just more satisfying if you want to smash something.

What's the Roche limit of the ground you're standing on?

Is it just local to yourself? How do you control what it applies to? You'll have train for weightlessness. Plus what is it against? The earth being a object is not something gravity cares about

Finding out all of the above is part of the fun.

With full, discrete control of gravity, even if it's just localized to your body, you would become the deadliest person on earth. You would be invulnerable to physical impact. Your touch could crush any object. You would be literally unstoppable.

If the power is wider ranging? Well now. Youre a magneto level threat, or more if you want to get into the "can make blackholes" side of things.

How would you harm anything else if it was local to your body? Like you could apply really strong gravity between you and it, but that would kill you too unless it's an ant

Now you're thinking like a genie.

Your body would have to be entirely or largely immune to the effects of the gravity power to not be crushed by it in general. You certainly wouldn't be able to fly, the basic "wish," if your body was hammered by G forces every time you lifted off.

Since you need some level of immunity, just applying "gravity" to your body then applying your body to other things would excert that force on them.

You don't have to fly around at 3G. Just set it to 0 and you're floating. 0.1G and you're gently accelerating upwards.

Actually even at 3G you wouldn't be hammered by anything. You're thinking of like cars or whatever that accelerate you and your body's momentum resists. With gravity control, every atom of your body would accelerate. I'm kinda guessing here, but I'm pretty sure you'd feel nothing. In fact the main issue would be adjusting to not feel gravity while flying around, like I said earlier

You'd still feel acceleration. Even if every cell of your body was accelerated evenly there's still lots of non-living matter sloshing around.

Are we only accelerating cells? It's all part of the questions
