It’s strange to me you list all these logical reasons why this or that wouldn’t happen and cite legal precedent and policies to bolster your opinion.
But the fact is that none of those things matter during war times. The US is deporting its own natural citizens now. They have made violent boasts and continue to insult other countries to this day.
The US would 100% bomb the northern parts with drones and push everyone south. From there they will take out everything of merit with massive collateral damage. They out number us 350 million to 40 million. The world is throwing half ass aid to Ukraine but the sad fact is that’s also what would happen.
No one can stop a first world, militarized nation without decimating humanity at this point. Even if it was us invading them, the death toll would be ludicrous if it meant the way of life for each nation.
And sadly, this is all at the whims of a few nut jobs. 99.9999% of the world just wants to live in peace and be left the fuck alone. Then you have the 50 some billionaires who just can’t get that thru their heads, always starting shit.
You are definitely NOT a military strategist. And you seem to know almost nothing about Canadian Geography. Or wind currents. The predominant wind direction takes all of the radioactivity and dumps in right in the middle of America. America becomes a radioactive waste land. So no nukes. But to use drones? Do you have an inkling of an idea how BIG Canada is, and how small even the largest 500 pound bomb is? There are not enough conventional weapons in the entire WORLD to 'lay waste' to Canada.
Canada would survive, the US not so much.
Who said anything about nukes? Other than you, Mr. Military Genius here hanging around Lemmy.
Take off hoser!
Read the headline. Your insulting, demeaning post is not welcome. It is contrary to the rules of Lemmy. If you have to resort to personal insults, you do not seem to have much to contribute.
