Testing out a new clue type here and curious the reception. They'd be rare, but are occassionally helpful in solving for a grid!

Hope ypu enjoy!

Instructions (best on desktop):

Solve the grid using the clues provided. The direction of the word is indicated by the number around the grid (so some words are backwards).

After you complete the grid, click the pencil icon tab at the bottom to switch over to solve the anagram. The title is a hint to the anagram!

If the new type of clue was 2 across, I might not have gotten it, except the rest of the answers filled it in for me, which is pretty typical for clues I'm not familiar with, so I think it worked well enough! I can see how something like that would be helpful for creating such a tight grid.

If it was something else, I really didn't notice anything out of the ordinary, besides maybe the title which seemed odd at first but helped me fill in the anagram quite nicely. πŸ˜†

Yeah it was 2 across I was curious about. I have done roman numerals in the past without much complaint, but was interested to see how this could go because strictly speaking they are numbers!
