God it fucking burns him so bad that Obama got one and he didn't.

Obama didn't even deserve a peace prize, the guy did more drone strikes than Bush, but just for the fact that it upsets Trump so much I say they should give him another one.

Of course Obama did more drone strikes than Bush - drones were barely a thing during the Bush years. The technology only became practical, cost effective, and mass produced during Obama's term.

Makes me wonder though if Bush wouldn't've used more drones if they were cheaper and readily available earlier in his presidency. At the time, they were still incredibly expensive and unreliable.

No one in government cares how many collateral deaths there are when drones are used, as long as it reduces the number of Americans returning home in boxes. Keeping the voters happy is always the priority.

I think that's a feature, more money for Lockmart and Raytheon, line go up.

as long as it reduces the number of Americans returning home in boxes

As long as it appears like they do. I don't think they give a fuck about their soldiers, otherwise they wouldn't have sent them to Asia to die.

Republicans are so terrible that Obama was given a Nobel peace prize early into his first term just for not being a republican

but just for the fact that it upsets Trump so much I say they should give him another one.

Five more, so Obama has one more than Trump thinks he's earned.

My one single satisfaction that I take from Turnip is despite having everything including some otherworldly luck - he will never be satisfied or appreciate any of it. What a sad and pathetic life and the only kind of life a sad fuck like him deserves.

Ha yeah for his peace efforts in the Middle East (or Near East for us Europeans) just to fuck up Trump more.

God he's so cringe "they only give them to liberals 😭" no they are

granted in accordance with the principle of "for the greatest benefit to humankind"

at which conservatives fail because they ultimately only benefit themselves.

Also I agree Obama didn't deserve them but at least he also gives at this fact himself and didn't wear it when he ordered drone strikes on wedding ceremonies while you can bet Trump would wear it on the toilet even

Explain why drones are any worse than any other kind of weapon. The people who get blown up are just as dead regardless.

Drones remove a human being from the chain, making it easier to kill more people more often because it's less real

This is anecdotal, but 22 years ago I attended an event where the US Air Force proudly played a video of a Predator drone strike. I was a teenager who avidly gamed, and felt horror at what I was forced to witness because I knew these were real people who were dying agonizing deaths

To this day I still feel the same emotions when I think of it, and I can't listen to Drowning Pool's "Bodies" because that's the song they played to accompany the footage

Power hungry narcissists vs compassionate, empathetic human

Yeah I'm not sure this is true, though I imagine it's only a matter of time. Anecdotally, but I know a guy who definitely has PTSD from, among other things, watching onscreen as such an automated weapon of war homed in on two combatants fleeing, closing in until finally one of them, looking over his shoulder directly at the camera, gave up and stopped running immediately before death.

Obama, being Blah, drives the likes of Taco crazy just by his very existence. Well, crazy-ier.
