Links must be to the original source, not an aggregator like Google Amp, MSN, or Yahoo.
Example:
- Articles must be relevant to politics. Links must be to quality and original content. Articles should be worth reading. Clickbait, stub articles, and rehosted or stolen content are not allowed. Check your source for Reliability and Bias here.
- Be civil, No violations of TOS. It’s OK to say the subject of an article is behaving like a (pejorative, pejorative). It’s NOT OK to say another USER is (pejorative). Strong language is fine, just not directed at other members. Engage in good-faith and with respect! This includes accusing another user of being a bot or paid actor. Trolling is uncivil and is grounds for removal and/or a community ban.
- No memes, trolling, or low-effort comments. Reposts, misinformation, off-topic, trolling, or offensive. Similarly, if you see posts along these lines, do not engage. Going forward, slapfights will result in removed comments and temp bans to cool off.
- Vote based on comment quality, not agreement. This community aims to foster discussion; please reward people for putting effort into articulating their viewpoint, even if you disagree with it.
- No hate speech, slurs, celebrating death, advocating violence, or abusive language. This will result in a ban. Usernames containing racist, or inappropriate slurs will be banned without warning

All posts and comments will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. This means that some content that violates the rules may be allowed, while other content that does not violate the rules may be removed. The moderators retain the right to remove any content and ban users.
That's all the rules!

The later most likely. And if the only news he consumes is Fox, it explains much.
My senior sister was the former case. Not too long after Trump took office, she only had a vague notion that Trump wasn't a very nice guy. That's when her and I started talking politics for the first time. It was stunning that she hadn't heard anything about the man.
As to Fox News, if I were Dictator of the United States, that shit would be off air instantly. It would be the very first order I sign.
I think most liberals have heard some of the heinous shit Fox has pulled, seen some clips here and there, but it's hard to truly grasp what an effective propaganda machine they are until you're forced to watch nothing but Fox for a whole week.
My hell week was at the time of Snowden's spying revelations. Nationally, and possibly internationally, it was the biggest news going. One whole week of Fox, and I heard zero mention of it. None.
Know what I heard? "Obama, Obama, Obama bama, Obama Obama ObamaObamaObama" Fuck me. I was starting to hate the man! And it wasn't all bullshit about him, they simply repeated the name so obsessively I never wanted to hear about him again. And it was never, "President Obama". I asked my friend's father, a very smart man, if he didn't notice the obvious brain-washing tactic and he just shoulder shrugged. Meanwhile his wife sat in her Lazy-Boy screaming, "The KKK needs to do their got damned JOB!" Seriously.
01/06, I turned to Fox's website, which is far more "fair and balanced" than the TV version. Nothing. Not a single headline, and that story was surely the biggest news on the planet that day.
Some people I can't explain. Our server at the Mexican joint the other day saw me on CNN and it had a picture of Trump. He asked me who I wanted the next President to me. I couldn't quite get what he said, because he barely speaks English, but he seemed to think perhaps I was MAGA, and he was considering Trump. A Mexican man. Who barely speaks English.
I'd be tempted to leave around copies of this article. People have no clue.
