I hope they pull out honestly. It's very easy to find other ways to get your news. It might actually be more healthy for society than having Facebook and Google pushing targeted news onto their users.

Literally this. How is Facebook no longer being in control of what news you see a bad thing? Why is this even a threat?

Won't Facebook just block Canadian news and only display news from other countries?
