I drank a potion so I could talk to an owlbear and it threatened my life but then I used my charm to convince it not to and it told me to scram so I left 
I LOVE THEM
I had the pet dog in EA and he was ok, but getting a pet owlbear in your camp is awesome. Though I had alot of issues when petting him, it would bug out
I was watching my buddy play and I'm not sure how but they killed the baby owlbear. I think it might have been scripted bc I didn't see anyone attack it.
If you kill the big one without killing the baby you get an option to mercy kill it
you can get it in your camp if you kill its mother than save it. i hate killing the mom but I love my new baby. im like an American solider.
You don’t have to kill the mom. The goblins kill the mom eventually (at least in early access that’s how it worked)
what have I done
It’s ok. I talked her down and got caught sneaking to the treasure in the back. All my diplomacy wasted by a rogue failing their one job.

I killed its mother and expected to just mindlessly kill the baby too but instead it switched to a cutscene of sad baby owlbear crying at its dead mom
