We've spent a year and a half telling the democrats "genocide is unpopular, stop it if you want to win", and the only response was "shut up, antisemite", and now it's "I hope you're happy".
The people at fault for the democrats loss are the democrats, not the people telling them to stop facilitating genocide.
So they are happy?

The people of Gaza don't care as they're too busy being genocided by the "good" guys. The people of the West bank will probably be inconvenienced in a few years but they have better things to worry about. That's how much difference there is between Trump and Biden (and hence Harris) on Palestine
Trump cannot do worse to Gaza , literally.
And just because a monster won, does not clear crimes done by others. Blinken should be held accountable, ideally charged with war crimes.
But Trump will kill more Americans than victims already in Gaza. He already has
Arming another country is not a war crime, no matter how evil that other country is.
Doing it while they are actively commiting a genocide is tantamount to a war crime. No one should care about technicalities in a situation like war. These are real people, children, losing their lives.
The guy who replied to you is a known liar and defender of war criminals.
Criminal law is based on precise definitions. You might consider Blinken to be immoral but he isn't a war criminal.
For that matter some people consider all Americans to be equally immoral, because Americans taxpayers fund weapon purchases. That doesn't make all Americans war criminals, either. Definitions matter.
Hi, just to clear up a misconception; Blinken is not responsible for the weapons; he is secretary of state.
My issues with him come from the fact he told a hundred or so lies (big ones), some publicly - some publicly at press events, some privately in negotiations. And these lies gave diplomatic cover. And not only that, some of these lies enabled more violence which he know would happen if he told them.
Another thing he did was indirectly support and enable the crimes in Gaza by using USA soft power. And this is not something he randomly did on Tuesday each month. Indeed, he spent a lot of the last year devoting himself to the cause.
Some would argue he was just following orders. Well, I have opinions on that.
It is not a war crime to lie, provide diplomatic cover, or otherwise support someone who commits war crimes. Even if it is immoral.
By the same token, it is not a war crime to support Hamas (financially, diplomatically, or otherwise) even though Hamas too is accused of war crimes.
I totally disagree on the morals. And I feel smug in my moral superiority, sorry.
The second point I would have words about too
You can certainly make a case that Blinken is immoral. But he's not a war criminal by any definition.

Hi. The guy your talking to is the great understander of law who strangely enough doesn't know the law when it goes against his fee fees. Aka he is lying to you.
Only one court has international jurisdiction over war crimes, and they don't agree with your opinion.

It is not "heartless" to point out that being a bad person does not automatically make you a criminal.
And it is absolutely correct, feel free to look up how war crimes are legally defined by the ICC. I am not ashamed of understanding the law.

The ICJ is not a criminal court. Its job is to adjudicate complaints between nations, in this case a lawsuit between South Africa and Israel.
The ICJ does not arrest or try individuals at all, for war crimes or anything else.

I did read the article. It does not say what you seem to think it does.
I would just copy and paste the relevant section but I find it funnier that you insist you read it while missing the very blatant proof that you didn't oh great and knowledgeable knower of law and war crimes.

The Times of Israel reported that Netanyahu felt pressured into the ceasefire deal because of uncertainty about how the next administration would handle the conflict, and that the new Middle East envoy accomplished more in one sit-down meeting with him than the Biden administration did in a year. Take that with a grain of salt, since it is ~~TTOA~~ TTOI, but, maybe?

Still taking that grain of salt, but it would explain why Netanyahu suddenly gave up his land grab project when strategically speaking Israel had nothing to lose by continuing the war.
