What’s the point of a thinner phone if the camera bump is the same size?

Less battery
More profits
Less weight. I’m still on a 13 mini. One of the things putting me off a larger phone is that they’re all so heavy. I don’t want a larger screen either, but I might end up compromising with this.
Is it really an “air” if it has a camera bump sticking out of it?
Seriously, just make it flat even if it's fatter, why the hell is a bumpy surface better
so they can sell you a case
The newer official cases (iPhone 13+) aren’t thick enough to compensate for the camera bump
I like the bump. With the glass back you can’t really feel the difference between the front and rear of the device and the camera bump help orient you in the dark.
"Leaked" hehe
I’m OK with this if they also make an iPhone Fat that is the same thickness as the camera so it doesn’t stick out.
Any guesses on the fancy marketing name they'll give it?
