Scape05 was a 1:1 remake server of Runescape as it was in 2005. Jagex sent a cease & desist alongside an NDA to Mod Devenir, the owner of Scape05, and told him to move to Project Zanaris. As we all know, Project Zanaris doesn't exist, so that was quite rude.

Wow that's sad. 2004–2006 was when I played, and if I was going to go back to it that's probably the time period I'd want to see.

I went looking for more information about this forced shut down, but couldn't see anything on Reddit. Shame it seems to be being swept under the rug.
