A place to discuss pro-conservative stuff

  1. Be excellent to each other. Civility, No Racism, No Bigotry, No Slurs, No calls to violences, No namecalling, All that good stuff, follow lemm.ee's rules, follow the rules of your instance, etc.

  2. We are a Pro-Conservative forum. Posts must have a clear pro-conservative, or anti left-wing bias. We are interested in promoting conservatism and discussing things that might get ignored elsewhere. All sources are acceptable, however reputable sources with a reputation for factual reporting are preferred.

  3. Dissent is allowed in the comments, but try to be constructive; if you do not agree, then provide a reason which is backed up by references or a reasonable alternative interpretation of the provided facts. That means the left wing is welcome to state their opinions, but please keep it in good faith.

A polite request, not a rule, if you feel the need to report a comment, please don't reply to it.

This questionnaire with a built-in cheat code is a scandal, but it's not the reason for the current increase in accidents - to even take the questionnaire, you already had to pass the 200 hour training and get a high result in the relevant 8h skill test.

The main reason is the permanent understaffing in control towers.

Thanks for the info. Glad there is a lot of training thats required for the role. An 8hr test is pretty brutal.

Being an air traffic controller is one of the most stressful jobs you can have. Hell, I wouldn't be able to cope doing it.

Yeah but where's the actual proof? This is an opinion piece.

the title is bullshit, it's a dog whistle attack on DEI hires to draw attention away from the fact that trump just killed 70 people by firing FAA officials.

No they didn't.

solution: complete hiring freeze.

worked out great.

incidentally, that racist opinion piece is ridiculous. all and your title is wrong:

...applicants who had already graduated from a 200-hour training program and achieved high scores on AT-SAT...
