Any thoughts on expanding the amount of floors the whole dungeon goes down? I mean it was challenging the first time but after a while it tends to get a bit stale. Love the new title though, reminds me of older rpgs.

Dev comments in their plan for this year has relevant points that I'll quote here.
Halls Quest
While I don’t want to make the game overly long, a bit more gameplay at the tail end of the game is sorely needed to give players a bit more time with finished builds and time to make use of armor abilities. I have a few ideas for interesting quests that could test an endgame character.
Alt Paths?
Another common request is to have more dungeon floors, but just adding more risks making the game too long. An alt path could offer new environments and enemies without making the game directly longer. This would be a huge time commitment though, so I’d only really consider it when ShatteredPD is otherwise finished.
Endless Mode
Some form of endless mode is a very common request. This partly ties in to the last region of the game being the shortest, but also there’s just a desire for players to see how far they can get with strong character builds. I have a few loose ideas for how endless might work, but want to focus on other things like new quests first.
Note that in that post, Evan said those items are "definitely" not in 2025, but are longer term plans.
Yeah, I forgot about that. I just remember there were some pertinent parts and quoted it.
Thanks dude, and quick to 👍 😀
Wow that looks really great!
I really like it! It’s a lot more readable than the really bulky font of the current one!
Yeah one of the major goals here was to keep some of the bulky feel while making the text a lot more readable.
Dang I'm desperate to try it but seems it does not allow me to have the beta and the normal one together. Or is there a trick?
That is correct, the beta install overrides the live one. Once the beta ends you can seamlessly transition back to live release though (e.g. v2.5.4 -> v3.0.0-BETA -> v3.0.0), and generally the beta is very stable after the first day.
It looks good. I don't know why, but it has the feeling of "Shattered-pixel dungeon " instead of "Shattered pixel-dungeon". But maybe it's just me
But it's supposed to... ? This version of Pixel Dungeon is "Shattered Pixel". Evan even uses a shattered pixel as the icon for the about button on the home screen, and also in the patch notes.
To be fair, people often just call it "Shattered", and it's definitely a branch of Pixel Dungeon. I think the ambiguity of the wording is maybe part of the point.
Looks great!
