The thing about nihilism that some people dont seem to get is that if nothing matters, it matters equally as little if you do just do things and live your life as if you dont. Nihilism isnt a reason not to do anything just as much as it isnt a reason to do anything.

Pascal's wager is a philosophical argument advanced by Blaise Pascal (1623–1662), seventeenth-century French mathematician, philosopher, physicist, and theologian.[1] This argument posits that individuals essentially engage in a life-defining gamble regarding the belief in the existence of God.
Pascal contends that a rational person should adopt a lifestyle consistent with the existence of God and actively strive to believe in God. Unfortunately, the actual scenario turns out to be that the Spider-Goddess is running the show, and that She rewards only Her beloved atheists with eternal pleasures in the afterlife and tortures for eternity in Her Web the heretics who adhere to Yahweh.
