Three buses exploded in Bat Yam, Israel, in a suspected terror attack. Two other buses had unexploded devices, one weighing 5kg, with a message referencing a recent Israeli military operation.

Who would've thought that when you raze neighborhoods to the ground, force the dislocation of tens of thousands of people, and systematically detonate their schools and healthcare institutions there would be repercussions from them?

Not me that's forsure.

The population of Gaza in 2024 was 2.1 million. It is one of the most densely populated areas in the world (≈5,960 people per km²).

They didn't force the dislocation of tens of thousands, they're FORCING the dislocation of MILLIONS.

I despise the actions of Israel and hope they get what they deserve.

that's even if palestinians were behind this and this isn't another israeli false flag

Comment in before we find out it was some far right person that wants the genocide to start again.

Edit: Looks like no one was hurt. Less of a chance it was some fascist. They seem to require that each of their attacks kill at least one child.

Fascism needs an enemy.

Who would've thought that when you massacre villages it would result in a war?

If this is all above board, this is one of the most considerate acts of terrorism there could be. It obviously wasn't the bombers just accidentally setting the wrong time so that busses just happened to be empty. And that there was a message on one of the bombs that just happened to not explode sure seems like it was intended to not explode. If you've got access to something the size of a bus, intend for it to explode, and want a message to survive, you don't put it on the bomb.

Hate to be a conspiracy theorist, but this seems more like the work of Lyle Lanley than Hamas.

Edit: For those downvoting me - fair.
I was wrong. It wasn’t the monorail salesman from from the Simpson’s. It was Israeli citizens.

Oh, man. Those buses were one day from retirement, too.

Sow chaos, reap chaos

This is the kind of resistance I can 100% get behind. Blowing up civilians is generally not good, but absolutely blow up their shit.

Killing innocent people (possibly Muslims/Arabs too) because of a bad government... And you're for that?

[–] [email protected] 9 points 18 hours ago

Try reading next time: "No casualties"

[–] [email protected] 4 points 16 hours ago (1 children)

The buses were blown up while empty in a parking lot, which isn't likely to be a coincidence.

[–] [email protected] 4 points 14 hours ago

I think it is a bit early to judge either way. Could have been a false flag. Could have been "sending a message" w.o. killing anyone. Could have been a fuckup in setting timers...

The only thing that can be said right now imo. is that putting bombs as packages onto busses and letting them sit their for hours, waiting to be discovered in a country on high alert is not a good plot, if the intent is to blow up busses with many people on them.

I am pro, unless the citizenry is actively revolting against their corrupt government. Complacent people are complicit people.

[–] [email protected] 4 points 17 hours ago

I did read. Clearly the intent of the bombs was to kill

[–] [email protected] 0 points 12 hours ago (1 children)

Probably did it themselves

[–] [email protected] -2 points 7 hours ago

3 empty buses explode, no victims, no wounded.

Terrorist run over crowds in the rest of the world, but in israel they suddenly become humane... yep, they probably did it themselves

[–] [email protected] 1 points 18 hours ago

Nah, those were Boeing buses.
