FritzBox, but their design don't make them suitable to be boltet to the wall of a living room.
Did you check the Fritz Repeaters (e.g. 2400 or 1200 AX)? They have a ethernet port, can be configured as a WiFi access point and IMHO do not look too bad.

Or if you're just going for a single router/modem/wap combo, most of the fritz boxes that look like this have mounting holes on the back so you can hang them off the wall, flat.

You could maybe flash mikrotik with openwrt? That way you avoid mikrotiks ui etc. Openwrt doesn't support wifi6 think
Doesn't support WiFi 6 on mikrotik you mean? As I'm currently running Openwrt on some bottom-shelf Asus routers and WiFi 6 works just fine.

EDIT: although, for OpenWRT I’d recommend a router with openwrt with a separate WiFi AP (Zyxel makes good ones) as opposed to bundling them all in one.
I have been using Mikrotik for more than 15 years and it’s true that they have so many options that they can feel overwhelming.
But they also have a setup wizard that allows you to configure a basic AP file with a single network and shared internet (NAT) in a few clicks, quite similar to standard routers.
What is the issue you find difficult, ongoing setup and maintenance after initial setup?
I’m asking with good faith, there’s also third party management software for Mikrotik and RouterOS that could help cover your needs.

Looking at this website they have company headquarters in Hongkong and Shenzhen, and presence in Poland, but their terms of use and privacy policy state that "we, us" refers to the company in Shenzhen.

Apparently I didn't do my homework properly... You are right of course. I think I jumped to conclusions because when I bought mine most of the info was in German and their website went to German immediately. I suppose Germany is its biggest importer.
