"Temporarily closes" may have been a better headline.

I thought it meant they were shutting for good, which would be pretty ridiculous.

An appropriate response if they want to repair their image. If cleanliness got that bad at even one of their restaurants then that means there's at least a few more that aren't that far behind.

People don't go there for amazing food, they go to get an extra large beef rice bowl, salad, and a cup of miso soup in under 5 minutes for 7 bucks

They should import some Louisiana alligators to deal with the rat problem. When the alligators become an invasive species, add Alligator Sauce Piquante to the menu. Problem solved.
